History

Joe and Tom Murphy started Murphy Bus Lines the company in Clinton, Ontario in 1946. The brothers built their first school bus and transported students to Clinton District High School.

The Tradition Continues

Today Murphy Bus Lines is family owned and operated, the company operates over 400 vehicles and employs 450 people which includes part time drivers and full time staff. Our main operating headquarters is in Arva with bus depots in Clinton, Lucan, Seaforth, St. Marys, Mitchell, and Exeter. Murphy Bus Lines is under contract to provide bus service for the Avon Maitland District School Board, Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board, London District Catholic School Board and Thames Valley District School Board.
